Minister for Tourism and Culture, Lauren Moss today announced tickets will go on sale tomorrow for the 2018 People’s Choice BASSINTHEGRASS Music Festival.
The Territory Labor Government continues to support BASSINTHEGRASS through $490,000 of funding, understanding the role festivals play in making Darwin a vibrant city.
“BASSINTHEGRASS was a Labor Government initiative to provide the same access to quality Australian music as the rest of the country,” Ms Moss said.
“BASSINTHEGRASS is a highlight of the dry season for music fans of all ages and first release tickets are now on sale from $75. I urge fans to grab their tickets now as last year they sold out one month prior to the event. A BASS ticket will be the ultimate stocking filler this Christmas.”
The Territory’s largest all ages music festival will celebrate its 16th year in 2018, and will be held at the Darwin Amphitheatre on Saturday 19th of May from 11am to 11pm.
A stellar line up of artists, to be announced in early 2018, will offer a varied mix of genres.
The popular VIP area returns in 2018 for those seeking a greater festival experience. VIP ticket holders receive express entry to the festival, a shaded area on the hill, four complimentary drinks and finger food, a private bar and bathrooms, and a unique souvenir ticket.
